Place Value Game

I created this file folder game as a review for 2nd and 3rd graders also as enrichment for advanced 1st graders.  It can also be used in math centers or for small group instruction.
It is available in the link below.

It is the 3rd week of July and here in Georgia we are preparing to go back to school NEXT WEEK.  Currently I am working on my room and will have before and after pictures coming soon.  I would like to share a space theme I created for my classroom last school term.  All the students LOVED the new look of the lab.
The planets were a labor of love drawn on cardboard and hand painted.  They are hanging from the ceiling with the use of fishing line and paper clips.

This took a week to complete but if you have helpers it can be done in a day or two.  The rockets on the computers terminals were $1.99 (2 packs) from Hobby Lobby.  I used markers and paint to decorate them.  The rocket and planet stickers on the door were also purchased from Hobby Lobby (I do not remember the price but they were not expensive) as well as the silver border. The stars were $1.00 from my local Dollar Tree Store.
Hello!

It's been awhile (2yrs) since my last post.  A lot has happened in that time (1) GRADUATED, (2) Took a teaching position, (3) Began work on my Master's degree.  I have so much to share and will update frequently.  Thank you so much for coming by the Lesson Plan Corner!
